how do I set up an account?

It's simple. When you add a product to your shopping cart you will have the option to "proceed to checkout" or to "continue shopping". When you click “checkout” simply fill in the requested information. You will be asked if you want us to remember your details. If you select "yes" once the checkout process is complete your account information will be securely stored in our database. The next time you return to Purl Mama your name and address details will automatically appear.

do I have to set up an account?

You do not need to set up an account to place an order with purl, however, if you do your customer information is securely stored on our database and you won't have to re-enter your details the next time you place an order. As an account holder you may also receive exclusive offers and discounts.

what are my payment options?

purl accepts MasterCard and Visa . You can also redeem any e-gift card, store credit or special discount mailed or e-mailed to you by entering the appropriate code when checking out.

when will my credit card by charged?

Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to be shipped.

can I order by phone?

Absolutely. Contact us on 250-751-3632 and we will be glad to help. We are available Monday to Friday from 10am until 3pm PST. Outside of these hours e-mail and phone messages are checked regularly and responded to quickly. If you prefer you can e-mail us to arrange a call-back – we will call you at a time you choose so that you may place your order.

can I order by fax?

Yes – just download our order form, complete it and fax it to purl at 250-751-3632. Please send an e-mail to info@purlmama.com confirming you have placed an order.

how do I purchase an e-gift card?

Not sure what to buy? An e-gift card makes a great gift and can by purchased simply by clicking on the "gift card" icon on the homepage. Just select the card with the desired dollar amount and from there it's the same easy checkout process as buying anything else on purl.

I have been given an e-gift card. how do I redeem it?

It couldn't be easier – just choose the products you like and click on "checkout" where you will be asked to enter your delivery details and the unique id and pin number that are on your gift card. An e-gift card is valid for all products on our site and it never expires.

what currency are your prices in?

All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

will I be taxed?

We are required by law to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 5% on all orders shipped to Canadian addresses. In addition, we are required to charge Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 7% on all non-exempt items shipped to British Columbia addresses. Purchases of baby clothes and shoes are PST exempt.

No sales taxes are applied to orders shipped outside of Canada. Please note that you may be liable to pay customs and duty charges.

what do I do if the item I want is out of stock?

We receive new stock shipments regularly. Contact us by phone or e-mail and we will be glad to reserve an item for you.
